Kone Foundation grants funding for Plural’s researchers

Four projects of Plural researchers have been awarded funding by the Kone Foundation through the general grant application round of 2023. The foundation received 6,684 applications in the general application round, and 350 grants and a total of over 44 million euros were awarded. The award rate was 6,6%, and calculated from the total number of applications, 5.2% of projects were awarded a grant. To researchers at Tampere University, 24 grants were awarded.

Kone Foundation funds academic research in humanities, social sciences, and environmental sciences, artistic research and professional artistic work, as well as cross-disciplinary and multidisciplinary work between fields and disciplines.
