Call for applications for members of the Management Group of TRANSIT

The activities of TRANSIT are coordinated by a Management Group consisting of the faculties’ representatives. The Management Group of the Research Centre on Transnationalism and Transformation consists of six members, two from each of the participating faculties, the Faculties of Education and Culture, Social Sciences, and Management and Business at Tampere University

The posts of Management Group members will be filled via an internal recruitment process for the period from 1 August 2021 to 31 July 2026. The tasks will be included in the appointed persons’ work plan. The share of working time allocated to the post will be determined on a case-by-case basis in a discussion between the successful candidate and his or her supervisor.

The Management Group of the Research Centre
• approves the strategic research alignments of the Centre, in line with the activities of the member faculties
• approves the general selection criteria for projects hosted by the Centre
• directs and supervises the research and other activities of the Centre in accordance with its agenda

Requirements of a Management Group member of TRANSIT
• The Management Group members must be doctors employed by Tampere University
• The members must have expertise in the thematic field of the Research Centre

The Dean of each faculty appoints two representatives from their faculty to the Management Group of the Research Centre.
