Bioinspired Materials and Robotics

In the Bioinspired Materials and Robotics (BioMaRo) group, the main goal of our research is to fabricate, interface and assemble microsystems made of heterogeneous materials, including liquids, soft, adhesive, bioinspired and/or biotic materials. The targeted applications are in robotics and microfluidics.

Specifically, we work on:
1) Integrating actuators, intelligence and sensing into smart microsystems and soft robots
2) Manipulating microparticles inside microfluidic chips using ultrasound
3) Computer-aided design of microfluidic devices
