HARMONICS project

HARMONICS project’s (HiAP Analysis using Realistic Methods On International Case Studies) research focuses on improving the understanding of how governments can implement HiAP successfully.

The project has carried out realist explanatory case studies of HiAP implementation in nine jurisdictions (California, Ecuador, Finland, Norway, Quebec, Scotland, South-Australia, Sweden, Thailand) representing five continents.

The HARMONICS publications explore possibilities and strategies for moving from policy silos into more integrated governance to involve participation of different policy sectors in HiAP initiatives.

Lauri Kokkinen is involved in the project as a research project team member. The project is led by Ketan Shankardass from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. More information at https://researchcentres.wlu.ca/ccrla/research/health-equity-systems-interventions/index.html.
