Precarious Work Research program (PWR) studies working life and employment as social determinants of health in Sweden, Belgium, Spain, Chile, USA and Canada.

The research of PWR strives for deepening the understanding of how non-standard work arrangements function as a social determinant of health by affecting communities, families and individuals.

The results of the project will be used to counteract the negative effects of working life by increasing the ability of participation, empowerment and healthy living among workers.

For our part, Lauri Kokkinen is involved in the project as a researcher. The project is led by Theo Boden from Karolinska Institutet. More information at https://precariousworkresearch.org/.
