CITER (Center for Innovation and Technology Research) specializes in research on innovation and technology. Our research focuses on developing competitiveness in our focus areas: business and innovation ecosystems, modeling and forecasting of technological development, technology business (business models and commercialization), and technology strategy and innovation management. Our special area of expertise is the business perspective in circular economy.
Our strategy
CITER creates new scientific knowledge that supports the decision-making of organizations, experts and managers in both companies and public sector. We do fundamental and applied research on technology-based sustainable business. Our four strategic areas are business models, new technology business, digitalization and multi-actor approach. Our fundamental research focuses on generating scientific knowledge about technological development, technology business, and innovation. Our applied research solves problems in a practical way, for example by developing new regional business models.
