The sociological platform Ilmiö presents academic research in popularised manner in order to offer everyone a change to look at social phenomena in an analytical yet easy to grasp way. With her article on social class and eating Taru commenced the so-called class week (#luokkaviikko), a set of articles that all have a shared theme: social class. This article reflects several of Taru’s recent research interest ranging from food preferences and dislikes to culinary capital and over-time trends in eating practices.
