A work group, led by FHAIVE, has discovered a response to particulate exposure shared between several cell types, tissues, and organisms in the newest paper published by Nature Nanotechnology.
A novel epigenetic mechanism that mediates long-term cellular responses to particulate matter exposure in a variety of species presents a new step for assessing the health and environmental impact of nanomaterials, highlighting the link between particulate exposure and immunity, while stressing the interconnectedness and interdependence of the health of humans, animals, and the environment.
