We want to welcome Arturo Rubio Ruiz to our team. Arturo is an undergraduate student from UPM Madrid. He will be working on both numerical and experimental characterization of materials. His work will focus on numerical modeling of Dynamic Strain Aging in steels as well as high strain rate compression testing of metals. During the summer he will also use DIC to study behavior of sand and clay under triaxial compression. Very ambitions plan, but we believe he can pull that off. More news will follow later.
