Fame of Hiedanranta as an example of sustainable urban development has reached also academics abroad. Researchers of Insurgent Spatial Practices collective are sharing with them the personal experiences, theoretical foundations, societal phenomena and research findings from the last seven years of having done action research in an area where co-creation, temporary urbanism and working with the grassroots has been experimented.
