Rohee is a Finnish language street magazine from Tampere with a special distribution channel: anyone who needs money can come and sell the magazine. Editor-in-chief Hannele Huhtala founded Rohee in spring 2022. The magazine focuses on social justice, societal issues and cultural stories.
The first article based on the collaboration with Insurgent Spatial Practices was published in the Rohee magazine no. 18, 5/2025 (Antti Wallin and Mikko Kyrönviita: How skateboarding makes the city safer). The second article appeared in the magazine no. 19, 1-2026 (Elina Alatalo: Mushrooming and co-working). Two more articles will be published during 2026, one about urban gardening (Krista Willlman) and another about a neurodiverse city (Riina Lundman).
The series of articles in question has been supported by the urban research network TURNS at the University of Tampere. Rohee will be presented at the event and urban researchers will discuss the results of the collaboration.
