The Huawei Fund was established in 2020 to support research and education in the field of information technology at Tampere University through the award of grants and scholarships. In addition, the Huawei Fund gives out annual student recognition awards.
The Huawei Best PhD Student Paper Award was granted to 10 doctoral researchers. The award is worth €1,000. LFE’s Riikka Mikkonen was one of the award-winning doctoral researchers with her article “Inkjet Printable Polydimethylsiloxane for All-Inkjet-Printed Multilayered Soft Electrical Applications”.
