Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation announced the grant decision of the year 2021 on October 9. Doctoral student Zhao Fu has been awarded one-year full-time working grant 26000 € for his research in Investigation of Reliability and Failure Mechanism of Printable Stretchable Electronics. Zhao will use this grant for his doctoral research in 2022.
In 2021, 447 out of 5114 applications were awarded by Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation with 13.2 million EUR funding in total, 60% of the funding is allocated to science fields. 158 of the 447 awarded projects are for doctoral research.
