Congratulations to Prabudeva Ramu for winning the best poster award at the IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference in Canada! He presented his poster titled “Fabrication of External Contacts for Thin-film III-V Solar Cells using Inkjet Printing: A Non-Destructive, Scalable Approach” which introduced a new Inkjet-based contact fabrication method for Epitaxial Lift-Off (ELO) thin-film devices. These Inkjet-printed contacts serve as an alternative for wire bonding and epoxy-based bonding which either damage the ultra-thin devices or introduce high contact resistance.
