Heidi Tuorila’s public examination was held on the 14th of November 2024. She defended her thesis titled “Advanced GaAs, InP and GaSb Optoelectronics for Hybrid Photonic Integrated Circuits” with Professor Mircea Guina acting as custos and professor Ilkka Tittonen from Aalto University acting as the opponent. The defense provided wonderful insight into new fabrication methods that can be used in photonic integration of various III-V based light sources. Read more about the thesis and its contents here!
