Our PhD student Janne Puustinen successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled, “Epitaxy and Properties of GaAs(N)Bi alloys” on Nov 24, 2023. Prof. Thomas Tiedje from the university of Victoria (Canada) acted as the opponent in the defence, while Prof. Mircea Guina acted as the custos. The defence discussed the importance of novel GaAs(N)Bi alloys in solar cell and other infrared range optoelectronic applications. Read more about it on Tuni homepage.
