ORC’s PhD student Marianna Vuorinen successfully defended her doctoral thesis titled “Advanced Processing of III-V Multijunction Solar Cells” on the 29th of November 2024. The opponent for the defense was Prof. Markku Sopanen from Aalto University while Prof. Mircea Guina acted as the custos. The defense started off with a nice lectio praecursoria where she introduced the concept of processing, and the intricacies involved in processing III-V multijunction solar cells.
