Our mission is to reduce the burden of the prostate cancer on society

We are a multidisciplinary research center leveraging basic sciences, epidemiology, computational biology, and clinical practice to find answers enabling better management of prostate cancer. Critical questions we urgently seek to answer are:

  • What key features of lethal prostate cancer can be used to better prevent, detect, and treat lethal prostate cancer?
  • What is the difference between indolent prostate cancer and lethal prostate cancer, and how do these differences teach us to avoid overtreating men with indolent prostate cancer, and underdetecting and undertreating lethal prostate cancer?
  • What are the mechanisms driving metastasis and therapy, especially castration resistance?
