Marcin Włodarczak from Stockholm University will present an open lecture on 22 October 2018, at 13.15, Pinni B 1029-30 (University of Tampere). The title of his talk is Voice Quality in Interaction.
Marcin Włodarczak is the Primary Investigator in the research project Breathing in conversation (Andning i samtal) at Stockholm University, investigating interactional functions of breathing in spontaneous multiparty conversation. More broadly his research focuses on prosodic and multimodal features of conversation, especially in overlapping speech and feedback expressions. In the present talk he will present ongoing work on voice quality as an interactional resource in conversation carried out in the Phonetics Laboratory at Stockholm University.
