Congratulations to Burcu for her collaboration with VTT, which is now published in Advanced Materials. We demonstrate the potential of accelerating de novo protein material engineering using elastin-like protein. This work combines computational modeling, deep learning, and genetic engineering to create ELP variants that maintain structural integrity and demonstrate controllable self-assembly.
