We report the real-time breath pattern monitoring using a dynamically responsive optical fiber sensor. By integrating a functional cladding that responds sensitively to changes in humidity in exhaled air, the system enables continuous and accurate tracking of respiratory patterns. The sensor delivers rapid response, high sensitivity, and stable performance without bulky instrumentation. This approach opens new possibilities for wearable, noninvasive respiratory monitoring in healthcare, fitness, and early disease detection. Read more at: ACS Omega
