Bachelor’s and Master’s Thesis Projects
We welcome Bachelor’s and Master’s students from Tampere University to contact us about thesis opportunities.
Students interested in experimental work in our laboratory should be majoring in Chemistry and have completed:
- Organic Chemistry 1
- Organic Chemistry 2 or Biochemistry
- Laboratory Safety coursework
Bachelor’s theses are typically literature-based. Master’s theses are experimental and carried out in the laboratory.

Exchange Students
We welcome exchange students through international mobility programs such as Erasmus, Erasmus+, and EMBO.
Exchange students can contribute to ambitious, ongoing projects within our group. We are especially interested in students with multidisciplinary backgrounds who are eager to work across scientific fields.
