2nd Tampere IAS Talks in "Tiedon Valoa" Science Event on 25 January 2025, Tampere Hall

While most of the event’s lectures, presentations and discussions will be held in Finnish, the Tampere Institute for Advanced Study Talks offers an opportunity to participate in its English-language seminar with a presentation titled The Power of Predictability: Understanding the Development of the Young Brain in English. In this seminar to be held in Duetto at 14.00-16.00, the internationally renowned expert Professor Sam Wass (University of East London) will speak about how predictability supports positive brain development. Senior Research Fellow Anneli Kylliäinen will provide commentary from the perspective of neurodiverse children and of how to support them. The session will be chaired by Director Juha Teperi (Tampere Institute for Advanced Study).
