The Immersive Telepresence in Theatre project has been shortlisted for a teaching and learning award at this year’s Reimagine Education awards, held in San Francisco.
This collaborative project, initiated in 2015 and run by our School of Media and Performing Arts in partnership with the University of Tampere (Finland), uses a combination of video-conferencing technology, large scale projections and social media to allow students in different locations – sometimes thousands of miles apart – to rehearse and perform together.”
