This research focuses on live-tweeting during televised electoral debates that are part of the Finnish parliamentary elections in April 2015. The main focus is on the content of the tweets. The research seeks to answer the following questions: which topics arouse conversation, how the live-tweets characterize the party leaders, what kind of tweets generate interaction and how the live-tweets reflect in traditional press’ reports on the electoral debates.
