State-of-the-art review of expert debate at the dawn of tablets
The research produces topical information about development direction of newspaper journalism on the initial stages of tablet markets. This is a two-phase pre-study, which will build up-to-date knowledge base for a larger research project Tablets and new types of story proposed by the Journalism Research and Development Centre.
The pre-study is based on the analyses of expert debates gathered from various countries. It leads to the identification of main trends in the debates so far and thus forms the basis for the wider study. The first phase of the pre-study was reported in autumn 2011, and the second phase will be reported in spring 2012.
