The board of Sustainable Welfare Systems consists of professors (full or tenure track) and senior experts from different disciplines such as health and social policy, social welfare law, economics, knowledge management, health services research, computing science and medicine. The board has been nominated to plan, steer and develop the work done within the program. The board is chaired by the vice president of Tampere University. Board members include:
