This online meeting is a continuation to our opening workshop held on 8.10.2020 and aims to build up and facilitate a research community around the key themes of the Sustainable Welfare Systems program. You can register HERE.
As a new element we will pilot “research pitching” session which is open to everyone.
If you want to pitch your idea to others, please contact Matias Heikkilä by 13.11. the latest.
What is this?
- a place for the researchers to step out and articulate their research interests
- to find partners from other disciplines to take the idea forward
Why we want to do this?
- the aim is to help building smaller multidisciplinary initiatives or groups around specific themes or phenomena – an idea suggested in the first workshop.
Benefits for you?
- meeting new interesting people
- making you research visible
- the groups (hopefully) growing from this session can apply seed-funding from SWS in the spring
What you need to do?
- show up and give a 5 min informal pitch talk on your research or idea you would like to take forward with others
