COVID-19 Health System Response Monitor - a tool to analyse COVID-19 response measures across European countries

The COVID-19 Health System Response Monitor (HSRM) is an new online platform to provide countries and stakeholders in the WHO European Region with evidence of how national health systems are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tampere University's researchers are involved in updating the Finnish country page.

The aim of the website is to systematically map and analyse health system responses to the pandemic across the Region. It is a joint undertaking between the WHO Regional Office for Europe, the European Commission and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies.

HSRM will be updated regularly with information from all countries in the Region. It will offer cross-country comparisons for analyses of the measures being taken by national authorities and will also track wider public health initiatives.

The Finnish page is updated by a group of experts from Tampere University (TUNI) and Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). The work is coordinated by Assistant Professor Liina-Kaisa Tynkkynen fromTUNI, Faculty of Social Sciences.
