Re-imagining lines of Women Peace and Security in Finland Webinar

Join us online for the Re-imagining lines of Women Peace and Security in Finland Webinar on May 3rd at 2pm.

The Finnish Government made a commitment to UNSCR1325 in March, when it issued its 4th National Action Plan (NAP), just a few weeks before the parliamentary elections. The constellation of the government and the government programme is, at the time of this online webinar, still under negotiation. This is a great opportunity, but also an important moment, to keep the Women Peace and Security agenda in public discussion.

This webinar aims, thus, at taking stock of the mentioned agenda from the wider Feminist Peace activism and research perspectives – paying particular attention to perspectives that arise from the diverse migrant and Women of Colour communities, and feminist and women’s activist networks.

The webinar is organised as part of the Feminist Peace Research course (Peace, Mediation and Conflict Research MA programme) at Tampere University in collaboration with the Finnish Women, Peace and Security Network.

Join us on May 3rd from 2 to 4pm. Register through the following link until April 30th. The complete list of speakers will be available soon.
