New book: Negotiation, Collaboration and Conflict in Ancient and Medieval Communities

The question of toleration, and its opposite forces, have been accentuated in recent times, albeit these problems are far from being confined only to the modern world. The recently published volume, Negotiation, Collaboration and Conflict in Ancient and Medieval Communities (ed. by Christian Krötzl, Katariina Mustakallio & Miikka Tamminen, Routledge 2022), focuses on forms of cultural interaction and methods of negotiation in multi-ethnic and multilingual contexts during Antiquity and the Middle Ages.
