Come work with us!

Trivium is an internationally well-known and esteemed research community with a stable work program, regular international seminars and conferences, good contacts and a friendly atmosphere. Please look on our website for more information and examples of our work.

We host researchers from various countries for shorter and longer periods. Trivium researchers work on grants from the Research Council of Finland, Tampere Institute for Advanced Study, or from private foundations in Finland and elsewhere. If you are interested in applying for funding to collaborate with us or to work at Trivium — or if you are considering a joint application such as an ERC, EU Horizon, MSCA fellowship, or a Fulbright Scholar Award — please contact us through the Trivium board. This will help ensure that your plans align with our strategy and allow you to receive detailed guidance on the required financial checks and permissions at Tampere University.

Membership

All researchers and teachers affiliated with the University of Tampere, holding at least an MA degree, whose work focuses on Antiquity, Middle Ages, Early Modern period, or their influence are welcomed to apply for a membership. Please send your application with a short biography to our secretary. The application will be processed by the board.
