Project overview
IntegrateQT focuses on the development of ultrafast semiconductor chip lasers for integrated quantum photonics. The project aims to replace the bulky and costly pulsed lasers currently required to operate quantum-dot-based quantum light sources with compact and scalable semiconductor laser solutions. By enabling highly integrated quantum light source platforms, IntegrateQT contributes to the advancement of practical technologies for quantum communication and quantum-secure encryption. The work is conducted in collaboration with leading international research groups specializing in single-photon and entangled-photon sources for quantum photonic applications.
