Early Career Support
HEX supports its early career researchers through its monthly seminar program and networks, its visiting fellowship program, and its support for funding applications.
Support for funding applications
HEX researchers at Tampere University and elsewhere hold grants from for example the Research Council of Finland, the Tampere Institute for Advanced Study, or private foundations. If you are interested in applying for funding to collaborate with us or to work as a visiting researcher with their own funding at HEX —or if you are considering a joint application (e.g., an ERC, EU Horizon, MSCA fellowship, or Fulbright Scholar Award)—please contact us via the HEX board. This will help ensure that your plans align with our strategy and will allow you to receive detailed guidance on the required financial checks and permissions at Tampere University.
Tampere University’s Research Services help researchers and research groups to find, apply for, and manage research funding. The Preaward Team provides information on funding opportunities and offers support with planning and preparing grant proposals.
