The faculty Management Group states that Digital Handbook of the History of Experien has increased the international visibility of Tampere University and the Faculty of Social Sciences and is of great importance for the scientific work of HEX. The publication is designed by an editorial team led by University Researcher Rob Boddice and includes Johanna Annola, Reetta Eiranen, Sari Katajala-Peltomaa, Mikko Kemppainen and Jenni Kuuliala.

Tampere university´s Faculty of Social Sciences (SOC) annual Research Award is granted to Senior Research Fellow Rob Boddice and his editorial team for the first successful year of the Digital Handbook of the History of Experience.
