TAPRI at the EuPRA2024 Conference in Pisa, Italy

Last week, several TAPRI scholars attended and presented at The European Peace Research Association (EuPRA2024) conference in Pisa, Italy.

TAPRI scholars contributed among others to the sessions Youth, Peace and Security; Geographies of Peace; Peace Narratives and Collective Memories; Gendering Security at War; Whose Peace? Whose War?; Peace Pedagogies; Food, Environment and Just Transitions and Peace, Security and Borders, as well as several roundtables.
Several scholars affiliated with TARRI, who are members of the EuPRA board, were also responsible for organizing the conference. Among them were Ilaria Tucci (she, her), who is serving as the president of EuPRA, Anush Petrosyan, and Bram J De Smet. The new board also includes TAPRI representation. In addition to Ilaria Tucci, Cæcilie Svop Jensen and Meeri Tiensuu were elected to the new board. TAPRI congratulates. The EuPRA conference serves a crucial and essential function as a gathering point for scholars who identify as peace researchers.  The next conference is scheduled to take place in two years.
