Eeva-Liisa Kiiskilä is a leading expert at the Peace Education Institute (Rauhankasvatusinstituutti) in Finland. Her work focuses on developing and promoting peace education in formal and non-formal learning settings. She has wide experience in teaching and training, curriculum development, and international cooperation in peace education, equality and equity work and material production for educators. Kiiskilä’s expertise lies in pedagogical approaches that foster dialogue, language and trauma awareness and active participation as foundations for building more just societies. She is dedicated to strengthening educators’ capacity to address inequality, and sustainability through transformative learning and to advancing peace education as a driver of social change.
