Societal differences and divisions, of which gender is a central one, permeate and structure working life and its changes in paid employment, entrepreneurship as well as in unpaid work. This stream examines gendered structures as part of working life, labour market participants and their relationships, work and organizational cultures, practices, individualization as well as other changes in working life based on solid conceptual and empirical experience. Gender is studied in connection with other societal differences, such as generations, parenthood, professional status, class status and sexuality, as well as power relations in working life. Intersectional analyses of equality issues and power relations in working life also identify different gender positions in relation to other differences.
