The Faculty of Built Environment at Tampere University has awarded Professor Juha Vinha and the Building Physics Research Group a diploma for their long-term and impactful work to promote buildings and human health. Vinha has been working on this theme for about 30 years. During this time, the research group has carried out more than 200 research projects with its partners. The group’s activities have wide visibility through the Building Physics Seminar and active expert advocacy.
The 30th anniversary of the Building Physics Research Group will be celebrated in 2024. The ninth Building Physics Seminar will take place at Tampere Hall on 14–16 October 2025. The next Nordic conference on building physics, NSB, will be held at Tampere Hall on 7–10 June 2026, hosted by the Building Physics Research Group.
