International collaboration

The building physics research group takes part in international collaboration in many ways.

International collaboration partners are often involved in our large public research projects. Recent projects of this kind are for example:

Building physics research group has taken part in several international development projects, that have been carried out by CIB (International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction) and IEA EBC (International Energy Agency’s Energy in Buildings and Communities Programme). The CIB W040 -committee and three previous IEA Annex -projects, that we were involved in, are presented here.

The research group includes international Doctoral Student and Post-doc researchers. The members of the research group have also visited abroad as visiting researchers.

In addition, the members of the research group regularly attend the most important international conferences in the field of building physics. The research group organized the international NSB 2011 -symposium in 2011, which is one of the most significant building physics conferences.
