Public research projects

The scope of building physics research projects varies. Some are large national and international public co-operation projects while others are product development projects for companies, and some are simple test services for individual buildings, structures or materials. This page introduces the most important public research projects of the group with short descriptions. The building physics research group of Tampere University has acted as the coordinator and main researcher in nearly all of these projects. The main financiers have been Business Finland and the European Union. Construction companies have also provided significant funding for many projects.
