The research hall is a semi-heated space (circa 5×12 m), that can be used to build structures to be studied in the test building area, or to perform tests that require long term monitoring, but don’t require precise control over conditions. The hall can be heated and cooled with an air-source heat pump. The hall is equipped with standard measuring instruments for continuous monitoring of temperature and relative humidity. If necessary, the equipment can be augmented with other measuring equipment of the Building Physics research group.
