I'm Professor of Nordic languages. My main main research areas are interaction in institutional settings and linguistically asymmetric interaction. My methodological approaches are conversation analysis and interactional linguistics, and I take an interest in applying her research findings and creating a dialogue with society.

I am Doctoral Researcher at the Tampere Unit for Computer-Human Interaction (TAUCHI). My research focus is on developing solutions for users who are either a novice technology user or users with low levels of literacy (congnitive or cultural). Primarily I use gamification in my approach to impart health-related information to the target users.
