Recognition was given to the most significant partners at the Finnish Building Physics Conference

During the sixth Finnish Building Physics Conference the 25th birthday of the building physics research group was celebrated, and recognition was given to most significant partners. The conference has been organized every other year since 2007. The only exception to this was in 2011, when instead of the Finnish Building Physics Conference the research group organized the Nordic Symposium on Building Physics (NSB). The ten companies, who had been a partner in at least six of these seven events, were given recognition to during the celebration.

The awards and diplomas for most significant partners were collected by Heikki Käkönen (AINS Group, Chairman of the Board), Jukka Tarvo (Comsol, Chief Executive Officer), Asso Erävuoma (Finnfoam, Director of Development and Marketing), Joonas Salo (BMI Finland/Icopal, Director of Sales and Marketing), Jenni Lätti (Engineering Office Lauri Mehto, Structural Engineer), Teuvo Vaittinen (Jaatimet, Chairman of the Board), Jenna Alakoski (Knauf, Product Manager), Susanna Tykkä-Vedder (Paroc, Development Manager), Timo Nissinen (Pihla Group, Chief Technology Officer) and Helena Turto (Saint-Gobain Finland, Development Manager).

During the Finnish Building Physics Conference recognition was also given to the most significant research partners of the building physics research group during the past 25 years. The awards and diplomas handed out during the evening function of the conference were collected by Marko Saarelainen (Honkarakenne, Chief Executive Officer), Petri Heljo (Kiilto, Research and Development Manager), Kati Alakoski (Kingspan Insulation, Marketing Manager), Jussi Björman (Metsä Wood/Metsä Group, Manager of Technical Customer Service) and Jyrki Kesti (Ruukki Construction/SSAB, Chief Technology Officer). Ants Katkosild (As Rake, Board Member) accepted the award at an event organized later at Tampere University. H+H Finland would also have been applicable to receive an award, but their operation has ended in Finland.

Ants Katkosild (As Rake, Board Member) collected the award for research partners from the Hervanta campus of Tampere University.
